When does the trial start?

With your first dictation or recording.

What happens to my Sessions after the trial?

You can still open, play, edit, search, share and export them. Creating anything new, including rewrites and note sync, needs the purchase.

Does it need the internet once bought?

No. Once Google Play confirms the purchase, ScribeKey stays unlocked offline. On-device speech works offline once its model is downloaded.

Do I need an account?

No. There is no ScribeKey account.

Can I use my own AI provider?

Yes. Add a key for cloud speech or skills. There are presets for OpenAI, Anthropic, Gemini, Groq, Mistral and more. That provider bills you directly, and cloud use also needs the purchase after the trial. On-device speech and cleanup need no key.
